Who we are

This site documents published regulatory findings relating to psychoanalytic and psychotherapeutic practice.

Its purpose is straightforward:

to preserve and make accessible verified findings of professional misconduct – before they are, in effect, ‘disappeared’ from public view.

We are a small, independent and unfunded team with experience in public interest work, community engagement, and regulatory accountability.

In simple terms:

we are members of the public who believe this information should remain visible.

Note on purpose

This site exists to support:

  • transparency
  • public awareness
  • accountability in professional practice

It does not publish allegations, but formal regulatory findings.

Where serious misconduct has been established, transparency is -primarily- not punitive, it is protective to us.

Accountability protects the public, and visibility supports accountability.

Please complain to us at hello@bpc.org.uk if you think this is incorrect; we’d love to hear your views and will respect your confidentiality.
